Matthew Bryza: The Disputable Principles Must be Solved this Year10:44 Yerevan | 6:44 GMT | Saturday 7 June Addressing the "Caspian Oil, Gas, Oil Refining and Oil Chemistry" international conference, US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Bryza noted that this year is important for Azerbaijan from the perspective of continuation of the peace talks on the Karabakh conflict settlement. He said that the aim of the meeting between Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev in Saint Petersburg is to assist the familiarization of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan and the establishment of trust between them.
"As for Nagorno Karabakh, there are many disputes on how the United States and the other co-chair countries approach the issue, whether they recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan or not. We recognize territorial integrity as a legal principle, but there are several political aspects here, which are not considered legal," Bryza said. According to him, "these principles must find solution this year." News
