Danger of Attempt on Life for Everyone

I lived in Armenia with a paper on residence until 2000, which the government issued on the request of the ministers of defense, said Jirair Sefilyan who talked about his problem of citizenship in a news conference on June 12. He said after October 27, 1999 the government did not issue that document for temporary residence. Sefilyan does not want to tell the reason, he only says that for about eight years he lived illegally in Armenia, which was the will of the government. Over this period, however, he has applied for citizenship for several times but was refused.

“The main danger that we pose to them is our species who do not sell themselves because they have some principles of ruling the country, buy the person instead of intimidating or killing them. This is the principle by which the country was ruled over the past ten years. In this sense I am lucky that I was not killed. But this species makes them weak,” says Jirair Sefilyan, explaining why he is not granted citizenship.

By the way, Jirair Sefilyan also said that he learned from the press about a possible attempt on his life but he has no other information except the newspaper report. Jirair Sefilyan said, however, that even this cannot make him retreat. Jirair Sefilyan said now everyone is exposed to the danger of attempt on life, evidence to which is March 1.
