Suren Surenyants Case Dismissed

The case of Suren Surenyants, member of the political board of the Republic Party, was dismissed, and prosecution was suspended. Surenyants’ attorney Arsenyan told Radio Liberty that the special investigator of the Office of Prosecutor General said the case was dismissed because of lack of evidence, as well as change of the situation. According to the attorney, the change of the situation refers to Article 225.1 and Article 225.2 that Suren Surenyants conducted a rally on February 24 and 25 at the Square of Freedom.
